Stage 3: Distance
Now is the time to animate this pose along the stage and timeline in a way that will demonstrate the distance I want my character to walk, and the time it needs to cover it.
3D: If my rig has a good “IK-FK” switch function, I will switch to FK after designing the pose, so that I can move my entire character by the pelvis. Do not use the “main” or “world” controller to move your character in a walk!
I place my “start” and “end” keys with a simple, linear transition between them.
